Official translation, also known as sworn translation, are certified translations which show that documents were translated faithfully, correctly and impartially and was certified by the notary public. For a document in a foreign language to be notary certified, it has to be translated by a sworn translator and sealed with the seal of the translator and has to be bear the translator’s signature.
The certificate of oath for translators are arranged seperately by each notary public. Therefore, a certificate issued by a notary public is not valid in other notary publics. For this reason, a translation can be notarized only in the notary public who issued the certificate of that translator.
